In this video, the speaker discusses the motives behind media bias. Pretty much, it boils down to money. As said by Paul Simon, "a man hears what he wants to hear and discards the rest." The media has taken notice of this, supplying the American public's demand by delivering stories that agree with their own political views. The media sells a product just like any other business and just like any other product, there needs to be a demand before there is a supply.
